Getting Started Walkthrough


Step 1: Add Your Listings


Begin by adding your Airbnb listing to Rankbreeze using your listing’s Airbnb URL - https://app.rankbreeze.com/listings/new. This will be the foundation for all your optimization activities.



? You can use your Airbnb user URL to add multiple listings at once. Select the “Add All My Properties” option for this.



Step 2: Install AirReview


Download and install the AirReview Chrome extension - Click here to download AirReview Chrome Extension. 


⚠️ Please install the extension using a laptop or desktop computer with the Chrome browser or a browser compatible with Chrome Web Apps. Tablets and mobile devices are not supported. Ensure your browser is up to date and restart it after installation for the best performance.




Step 3: Complete Your Airbnb Integration


Link your Airbnb account with Rankbreeze to enable full data synchronization. - https://app.rankbreeze.com/airbnb/connect 



? You can connect multiple Airbnb accounts using the “Connect new account” button.



Step 4: Implement an Optimization Change


Change your listing’s cover photo or implement a different optimization change. Rankbreeze will automatically track the performance and impact of these changes, giving you real-time feedback. 


Note: Rankbreeze doesn't just track photo changes. It automatically monitors over 20 other types of listing updates, helping you stay informed about different changes and their effects. - (Rankbreeze Auto-Tracked Changes)

To find a listing’s Optimization Journal, go to the “My Properties” page > Click the Listing’s “Rankings” button. The Optimization Journal is under the A/B Testing section at the bottom of that page.




Step 5: Analyze and Review Your Optimization Change


After implementing a strategic optimization change, analyze the data collected and review the results the next day. This will help you identify early indicators of the impact of your optimization(s), ensuring you make informed decisions based on actual performance metrics.

Step 6: Your Next Optimization


Visit the Optimization Hub to explore further enhancements you can make. Utilize insights from keywords, amenities, and competitor reviews to refine your listing.




Best Practices

  • Implement One Change at a Time: Avoid making too many simultaneous changes. If conflicting changes occur, Rankbreeze will highlight these in the ‘conflicting change details’.

  • Set Clear Objectives for Each Test: Before implementing any changes, define clear, measurable objectives for what you hope to achieve, such as increased bookings, higher click-through rates, or improved guest reviews.

  • Monitor and Measure Daily & Monthly Results: Keep track of how your optimization changes affect your listing over time (daily) and which month(s) were most affected (monthly) by the change. Click “Details” to open the “Listing Change Impact” modal on Rankbreeze and select “Daily” or “Monthly” to review these results for each metric. 

  • Be Patient with Results: Allow sufficient time to pass to accurately measure the effects of each change. Some optimizations may show immediate results, while others might take longer to manifest their full impact. We recommend 2 weeks.

  • Test Across Different Seasons: Optimize and test changes across different times of the year to understand seasonal impacts on your listing’s performance. What works during the summer might not be effective in the winter.
